World Poker Tour at Foxwoods Resort Casino
The World Poker Tour will make a stop at the world’s largest casino, the Foxwoods Resort Casino, between April 6th and 9th. The Mashantucket, Connecticut casino has hosted five poker events in the past four years. This year they have added even a World Poker Tour branded poker room. The casino has expanded its poker rooms at least four times in order to accommodate over 1000 players simultaneoulsy.
The poker tournaments have gained popularity courtesy of the Travel Channel that airs the events regularly. Executive vice president of marketing for Foxwoods Resort Casino, Robert DeSalvio, is pleased to also announce that the WPT will include the casino in the upcoming Professional Poker Tour (PPT).
